XXVI INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM – Plant Breeding in the World: From the Classical to the Omics Era

The 26th edition of the International Symposium in Genetics and Plant Breeding of the GEN group at the Federal University of Lavras marks the 25th year of the event. It has as its central theme “Plant Breeding in the world: from the Classical to the Omics Era”. The proposal is to discuss the achievements of classical breeding as well as the uses and future perspectives of the use of omics (genomics, phenomics, ambientomics, etc.) for the development of new cultivars. In this year, this event will have a hybrid format, in which foreigners speakers will broadcast live their lectures and the Brazilian ones will be on-site.
